This wine—made in honour of, and named after our mum—holds a dear place in our hearts, and it is humbling to have it recognised at such a level by the wine industry.
Pamela received a Gold Medal score of 96 points, with comments: "Complex aged yeast, cork age character complex. Super fine palate, detailed, creamy, fine and long."
This is the first year that the Best Sparkling Of Show Trophy has been named in honour of Dr Tony Jordan OAM, recognising his contribution to the wine industry.
Dr Jordan founded Domaine Chandon Australia in the Yarra Valley in 1985 and in doing so, established one of Australia’s most celebrated and successful sparkling wines.
